Students Escape Remote Learning Fatigue At 2021 Youth Spring Camps
By Cathy Niland | 4.13.2021Campers came to The Crucible with a new level of excitement, many eager to show off their work and share their inspiration. Two dragons named Harold and Gerald were born in Youth Ceramics I, a drawing robot named Kaylee came to life in Youth Gizmos, and two students each named Oscar formed a new friendship while helping each other carving their names in Youth Woodcarving and Sculpting.
Oscar A. and Oscar O., ages eight and nine, met in Youth Woodcarving and Sculpting and formed an immediate bond.
It’s hard to believe but 2021 Crucible Youth Summer Camps start in just two months. Youth ages 8-18 can register for classes in eleven of our departments, including Welding, Woodworking, Glass Fusing & Slumping, and Ceramics. Camp spots are filling up fast, so don’t wait to register! And if you’re not sure which camp is right for your student, be sure to check out our 2021 Youth Camps Guide for help breaking options down by week, age group, department, and more.
